Under the motto "Generation Citizen Science" the Austrian Citizen Science Conference 2018 brings together scientists, practitioners and citizens in the beautiful city of Salzburg to discuss and work on challenges and chances of citizen science, and particularly on how to motivate and inspire people to participate in projects.
It is organized by the University of Salzburg (www.uni-salzburg.at) together with "Österreich forscht" (www.citizen-science.at), "Schweiz forscht" (www.schweiz-forscht.ch), "Bürger schaffen Wissen" (www.buergerschaffenwissen.de), "Center for Citizen Science " (www.zentrumfuercitizenscience.at) and the Austrian Science Fund (www.fwf.ac.at).
